New Delhi: The price of 22 carat gold rose by Rs 100 to Rs 47,750 per 10 grams, from Rs 47,650 earlier. Meanwhile, the price of 24 carat gold was also trading with a gain of Rs 100. The price of 24 carat gold was Rs 52,080 as against Rs 51,980 earlier.

Spot gold fell 0.3% to $1,827.03 an ounce as of 0231 GMT, hitting losses for the fourth consecutive session. A Reuters report said US gold futures fell 0.6% to $1,828.10.

In the national capital, gold prices on Tuesday fell marginally by Rs 24 to Rs 50,686 per 10 grams. In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at Rs 50,710 per 10 grams. However, silver rose by Rs 13 to Rs 60,609 per kg from Rs 60,596 per kg in the previous trade.
