Gold declines Rs 105; silver rises Rs 52

New Delhi: According to HDFC Securities, gold prices fell by Rs 105 to Rs 56,526 per 10 grams in the national capital on Wednesday. In the previous trade, gold had closed at Rs 56,631 per 10 grams.
Silver, however, rose by Rs 52 to Rs 69,694 per kg.

“Gold prices were trading lower by Rs 105 per 10 grams at Rs 56,526 per 10 grams in Delhi markets,” said an analyst with HDFC Securities. ,Also read: 4 out of 5 professionals in India planning to change jobs in 2023: Report,

The dollar index gained 0.18 per cent on Tuesday due to increased pressure on the yellow metals. The analyst said US bond yields have also recovered from recent lows. ,Also read: Central Bank of India’s third quarter profit up 64% at Rs 458 crore,

In the overseas market, gold and silver were trading in the green at $1,910 an ounce and $24.16 an ounce, respectively.

Meanwhile, bullion traders closely watch today’s US Retail Sales and PPI data, which will be released later in the day, the analyst said.
