QUEPEM: After inaugurating the newly constructed Quepem MunicipalityFour Storey Market Complex, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant Said that the salary of about 1,000 daily wages workers Work in all municipalities in Goa will get an increase of Rs 200 per day.
“The laborers who were getting Rs 500 per day will now get Rs 700 from January. Even though the laborers will continue as daily wage labourers, but with this increase, they will get the same benefit of the fixed labourers,” said Sawant, adding that the file related to the wage hike was signed on Friday morning.
