Talking about these torture scenes, both the actors shared their experience together. Waddingham said he found the waterboarding scene very painful. “People are always quite surprised that this actually actually happened and nothing was CGI’d. Waddingham told media outlets that Unella was supposed to be raped by Cersei’s trusted guard The Mountain, but the show producers had already received complaints about Sansa Stark’s rape that they decided not to go through with it.
