Taking to Twitter, Khan wrote, “Pakistan became an independent state in 1947, but the freedom struggle begins again today against a foreign conspiracy of regime change. It is always the people of the country who defend their sovereignty and democracy.” We do.”

PTI has now named former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi as its PM candidate. He will run for the post against Leader of the Opposition and former Pak PM Nawaz Sharif’s brother Shahbaz Sharif. The elections will be held tomorrow afternoon (April 11).
