Bareilly: Former Governor of Uttar Pradesh Aziz Qureshi81, has been slapped with treason to the police For his alleged derogatory remarks against the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
FIR has been registered on the complaint of BJP member Akash Saxena. civil lines police station Sunday night in Rampur district.

Akash in his complaint to the police also said that “the remarks made by Qureshi are being liked on social media which may create tension between the two communities and may even lead to communal riots. ”
Police imposed section 153A [promoting enmity between two groups on ground of religion, race etc], 153b [imputations, assertions prejudicial to national integration], 124A [sedition] and 505[1] [B]-[intent to cause fear or alarm to the public].
Rampur additional SP Sansar Singh told TOI, “Complaint was filed by Akash Saxena against former UP governor Aziz Kushi and after preliminary inquiry an FIR was registered under relevant sections. We will take further action as per law. will do.”
