Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra called Suryakumar Yadav “India’s own Mr 360 degrees”, drawing comparisons with South African great AB de Villiers

the former India Opener Aakash Chopra has claimed that star batsman Suryakumar Yadav is India’s 360-degree player. Suryakumar’s heroics went in vain on Sunday as England thrashed India by 17 runs in the third T20I.

The right-handed batsman showed many shots on his way to an impeccable century.

Chopra heaped praise on Yadav after his sensational innings in the third T20I, as he compared the batsman to South African great AB de Villiers.

“Surya’s knock was not only a show off, but he also knew a lot about the understanding of the game, where the fielders are and where the bowlers are likely to bowl. That is India’s own Mr. 360 degree,” Chopra said exclusively on the Ku app.

India may have lost the match but the visitors won the T20I series 2-1 against England.

Coming into the match, England posted 215 runs in the allotted 20 overs as David Malan and Liam Livingston wreaked havoc on the Indian bowlers. Chasing 216, India didn’t have a great start as the visitors lost skipper Rohit Sharma, wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant and others. Virat Kohli Within 5 overs.

However, it was Suryakumar Yadav’s sensational century (117) that brought India closer to the target before losing the match.

Both the teams will now face each other in the ODI series starting on Tuesday.
