Chaudhary Bashir, who was a minister in the SP government in Uttar Pradesh, has been booked by his fourth wife for triple talaq in Agra. According to the victim, Chaudhary Bashir has married for the 6th time only 8 days ago. Nagma, a resident of Gobar Chowki in Agra, told that on November 11, 2012, she was married to Bashir. Her dispute with her husband is going on and the matter is in court.

Nagma told that when she came to know that her husband is marrying a woman named Shaista on the 6th of July, she reached the husband’s house and tried to stop the marriage. After this, husband Chaudhary Bashir threw her out of there by saying talaq thrice in front of everyone. On the complaint of Nagma, the police have said that Bashir will be arrested soon.

Nagma has told the police that she was married to Bashir on November 11, 2012.

Wife’s allegation – Wives change like clothes
According to Nagma, husband Chaudhary Bashir takes any disguise to change his wife. Nagma has also given evidence of this to the police. Nagma has some pictures from Bashir’s wedding. Before these pictures surfaced, she only knew that Bashir had done only 2 marriages. When the pictures surfaced, Nagma came to know that she was not his third but fourth wife.

First marriage to Salempur MLA Ghazala
Nagma told that Chaudhary Bashir had married Gazala, MLA from Salempur Assembly in 2003. Both were married at the behest of Mayawati. Both had switched from BSP to Samajwadi Party in 2004 and Chaudhary Bashir was made a minister. They had a son in 2005, after which both of them got divorced.

Nagma alleged that Bashir had married a woman named Tarannum for the third time. However, his photo could not be found. Nagma, the fourth wife, had filed a case of unnatural sex and dowry harassment against her husband in the year 2013 at Mantola police station, only a year after the marriage. Unnatural sex was also confirmed in the medical. After this the police arrested Bashir and sent him to jail. Bashir spent 23 days in jail.
