The Indian men’s basketball team’s campaign in the FIBA Asia Cup 2022 came to an end after a crushing 63-104 defeat against Lebanon in their final Group D match at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on Sunday.

A report in olympics.com said that the match ended 104-63 in favor of Lebanon, ending India’s disappointing campaign in the continental showpiece.
Muin Beck Hafeez and Pratyanshu Tomar were the top scorers for India in the match, scoring 11 points each. Amritpal Singh was second with 10 points. On the other hand, Lebanon got 15 points from Yousef Khayat and 14 points from Jonathan Allrez.
India’s best performance in the FIBA Asia Cup came in 1975 when they finished fourth.
