KL Rahul’s batting form has sparked a war of words between two former India cricketers, Venkatesh Prasad and Aakash Chopra.

KL Rahul’s lean patch has triggered a war of words between the two former players India Cricketers Venkatesh Prasad and Aakash Chopra have been trading blows on Twitter with Twitterati offering a contrasting opinion on the whole saga around Rahul and his string of low scores.

Prasad walked out of the debate expressing his desire not to engage further with Chopra with their exchange going viral on Twitter.

Prasad, however, has liked a clip of Chopra making the call on the social media platform. Bollywood Actor Sunil Shetty as his ‘mentor’, ‘elder brother’ and ‘father figure’.

Let us tell you that Rahul has recently married Shetty’s daughter Athiya.

The Twitter war started when Chopra requested Prasad not to criticize any player during the match. The former Test opener was referring to Prasad’s assessment of how India have backed Rahul despite “such a low average” and that his inclusion is “deliberately denying talented guys, in-form guys to be in the 11″. Occasion.”

Prasad had replied that the timing of his comments did not matter and that he preferred to watch Chopra’s videos on YouTube.

Thereafter, without directly addressing Prasad, Chopra started replying to users who were criticizing him for supporting Rahul.

Prasad did not take kindly to this and alleged that Chopra made a ‘vile video on YouTube’ and called him an agenda peddler. He also shared a screenshot of an old tweet from December 2012 in which Chopra is taking a dig at Rohit Sharma’s inclusion in the XI in place of Ajinkya Rahane.

“I admire Akash for his hard work on his YouTube channel, but calling out a different point of view as an agenda as it does not suit his story. There is no bitterness between us and since his video was in the public domain, I wanted to put my point here. Best wishes,” Prasad said in another tweet.

Chopra then invited Prasad for a face-to-face talk to clear the air. “Venky bhai, the message is getting lost in translation. Yes, you me on YT. I invite you to come on a video chat…we can do it live. Difference of opinion is good…let’s do it right. I will not have any sponsor on this and no one will make money from this. I am ready for it? You have my number,” he posted.

however, the offer was declined.

“No Akash, nothing is lost in translation. In your 12 minute video you have called me as agenda peddler as it is not in line with your statement. It is quite clear. And I have made my point very clear in this Twitter thread. I do not wish to engage further with you on this,” replied Prasad.
