Canadian newspaper wrote – PM Modi once again surprised. Many meanings can be drawn from this announcement of Modi on Prakash Parv. Political reasons are also important for this. Since the passing of these laws, the problems of the government were increasing.

Grief of the families of the deceased farmers

If PM had taken the decision first, my father’s life would have been saved.

Thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for withdrawing the Agriculture Act. Had this decision been taken earlier, the lives of my father and other farmers could have been saved. One day while returning home during the farmers movement, my father lost his life due to heart attack. Now there is a big problem in managing the family.

Me and my sister remember father often. Sister’s marriage and mother’s care is the biggest responsibility. What will happen to the MSP, the question still remains. Whenever my father used to come to the house during the agitation, he used to say that one day the government will accept all the demands.
(As told by Amit Kumar, son of late farmer Shamsher Singh of Samain)
Family ruined, three daughters, got trust but no job

My husband Ajay Mor (32) died on December 8 at the Kundli border. Everything was ruined for me, three daughters and my in-laws. Daughters Purvi and Pari are 7 years old and Vanshika is 5 years old. I am worried about the maintenance of the family. There is only one and a half acres of land. Initially some farmer leaders and politicians had come home.

There was only assurance of help. Now the Prime Minister has announced to repeal the law, but did not make any announcement for the families of the deceased farmers. The Prime Minister should give a job to a member of the family, giving martyr status to the farmers killed in the agitation.
(As told by Bhavna, wife of late Baroda farmer Ajay Mor)
Children remember their father everyday, from where should I get it?

My husband Amarpal, who had gone to participate in the movement, died on 25 December in Delhi. As soon as he heard the phone, darkness fell in front of his eyes. The movement will end now. My life and two children ended 11 months ago. Have two kids aged 5 and 7. Waking up from sleep at night, he calls his father.

Where do I get them? The husband was earning a living by farming. There is only one living room. Now even teaching children is becoming difficult. Because there is no source of income. No one earns Can’t even go to work except kids. If the government helps, the family will be able to survive.
(As told by Kusum Devi, wife of the late Serdha farmer Amarpal)
