Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and actor-host Shibani Dandekar, after dating for over four years, exchanged vows in the presence of close family and friends on February 19 at a farmhouse in Khandala, a hill station in Mumbai. The newlywed couple hosted several post-wedding parties for film industry colleagues and also shared pictures of their couple on social media from the big day.
As the couple enjoys moment by moment, Farhan’s ex-wife Adhuna Bhabani shared a message for the trolls on social media. She wrote, “Talk to the trollers. I am simply blocking people who don’t have anything positive to contribute here.”
Adhuna is currently in a relationship with Nicolo Morea. Farhan and Adhuna had announced their separation in a joint statement in 2017. However, he said that his two daughters would remain his priority.
After dating each other for three years, Farhan and Adhuna got married in 2000. On separating, the former couple had issued a joint official statement which read, “It is to announce that we, Adhuna and Farhan have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Our children are our priority and it is extremely important for us as responsible parents to protect them from undue speculation and public glare. We sincerely request that we be given the privacy which is necessary at this time to proceed in a dignified manner. ,
Meanwhile, Farhan is all set to return to the director’s chair with the upcoming film Zee Le Zara. Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt And Katrina Kaif, The film is produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby. The announcement was made a day after Excel Entertainment completed 20 years. The film will expand the genre for girls this time on the lines of Farhan’s road trip films Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. It will release in 2023.
