Bollywood director Farhan Akhtar and actor-host Shibani Dandekar are all set to tie the knot. They are dating each other for almost 4 years and never shy away from expressing their love for each other on social media. Well, according to reports, the actor is all set to tie the knot in February this year. Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar will register their marriage on February 21 in Mumbai.
According to Pinkvilla, “Marriage was on the cards for both of them as they have been in love for the longest time now. They have been discussing wedding plans for a while and have finally decided to take things to the next level. On February 21, their relationship will take a new turn, as they take a formal vow to be partners for a lifetime.”
Reportedly, the preparations for their wedding have started with the booking done for the couple’s D-Day at a five-star hotel in Mumbai. Farhan and Shibani will reportedly keep the gathering very intimate as the threat of COVID has not subsided and only close friends and family members will be invited to attend the festivities.
Farhan and Shibani are often seen painting the city red with their public appearances and social media posts. Last week on Farhan Akhtar’s birthday, Shibani Dandekar posted an adorable birthday message on Instagram. She dressed in black, posted glamorous pictures of them together. Along with the post, Farhan’s lady-love shared, she wrote, “My fu, what will be your best year ever. Love forever. Happy birthday. @faroutakhtar. #happybirthday #love #goodvibesonly.”
Shibani and Farhan have been in a relationship for a long time. After dating in secret for some time, they made their romance official on social media in late 2018. Prior to Shibani, Farhan was married to hairstylist Adhuna Bhabani and has two daughters together.
On the professional front, Farhan is currently gearing up for his directorial debut, ‘Jee Le Zara’, which will star Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, And Alia Bhatt, The film is anticipated to release in 2023.
