The Indo-China war of 1962 is recorded as one of the most unforgettable wars fought by the Indian Army in history. The special thing is that the Indian Army was not ready for the attack of China. The unexpected attack left India and its 20,000 army men fighting alongside China’s 80,000 military personnel. The war lasted for almost a month and ended in the month of November 1962 when China declared a ceasefire. China’s perception of India as a threat to its rule of Tibet became one of the most prominent causes of the Sino-Indian War.
