The Bharat Ratna awardee, who passed away on Sunday at the age of 92, was cremated with full state honors at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on Sunday. Late Lata Mangeshkar’s brother Hridaynath lit the pyre along with his son Adinath Mangeshkar. He also received a cannon salute during the funeral.

He was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on January 8 after he was diagnosed with COVID-19 and pneumonia.
