Bollywood directors Farah Khan and Karan Johar are holidaying in America these days. They have been sharing pictures and videos of their journey with their fans and followers for the past few days. The two filmmakers are BFFs from Tinsel Town. They are often seen teasing each other. After their friendly prank, Karan recently shared a video of Farah asking for a freebie at a NYC restaurant, leaving the man behind the counter stunned.
The video shows the American man giving his order to Farah at the restaurant and saying, “The food costs $9.” Farah can then be seen asking him for free nachos. She says, “Can I get free nachos as a discount?”
“No, sorry,” replied the man behind the counter to Farah’s laugh.
Seeking validation for Farah’s action, Karan wrote in the caption, “A transactional Farah Khan Kunder and a shocked American! But she asks a valid question! Your thoughts??”
Many people were furious after seeing the video. However, it seemed that most of her followers agreed with Farah. Huma Qureshi’s reaction to the video was a flurry of laughing emoji. Many people including Farah himself commented on this post. She remarked, “How can you keep it? But you did it to your advantage.”
One user said, ‘I am a proud Indian and will always ask for a discount. Not our birthright. Farah was justified.”
Karan has earlier ridiculed Farah for buying sunglasses from a street vendor in New York.
Karan Johar has produced various films and is now producing Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. He will also return to the director’s chair soon with Rocky and Rani’s love story. Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi will be seen in the film.
