Hani, a member of the South Korean girl group EXID, will make a special appearance in the Korean television series Ghost Doctor, according to a report by Korean news outlet Sumpi. The series stars Ren and Kim Bum in the lead roles. Hani’s brother Ahn Tae-hwan also appears in the series and plays a compassionate surgeon who befriends Kim Bum’s character Go Seung Tak. Honey’s cameo has been teased in a promo of the show shared on TVN’s official Instagram handle. Ever since then fans have taken to the comments section to express their excitement over the appearance of the K-pop idol.

According to Sompy, Honey Lee will play a star named Ji Woo, who had a special relationship with Cha Young Min (Ren). Meanwhile, Ghost Doctor is an ongoing Korean series that revolves around two doctors merging into one person who are polar opposites of each other. While Ren portrays the arrogant and selfish doctor with exceptional surgical skills, Kim Bum plays Seong Tak, the grandson of the founder of the hospital he works in, but has a tough time when it comes to work. He is very clumsy.

It premiered on TVN on January 3 this year and airs on Monday and Tuesday at the 22:30 (KST) time slot. Ghost Doctor is directed by Boo Sung Chul.

Hani, on the other hand, is known for being a member of the Korean girls’ group EXID. She has also appeared on television as a host on the shows Weekly Idol, Off to School, Crime Scene and A Style for You.
