Ireland’s Foreign Minister Simon Coveney said on Wednesday that Ethiopia has expelled four out of six Irish diplomats from the country over Ireland’s stand on the conflict there.
“I deeply regret this decision of the Government of Ethiopia. Our involvement at the international level on Ethiopia, including on the Security Council, is in line with the positions and statements made by the European Union,” Koveni said in a statement.
