Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has invited applications from those who want to work for the post of Assistant Professor in ESIC Medical Colleges. Candidates can fill the form through official website www.esic.nic.in. The last date for sending applications by post is 18th July.
The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up total vacancies of 491 Assistant Professor posts in various specialties including Anatomy, Biochemistry, Dentistry, General Medicine, Orthopedics, etc. As per the official notification, the number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending on the actual requirement.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of an interview conducted by the selection board. No written test is expected to be conducted as of now. Moreover, the interview dates will be released soon.
ESIC Assistant Professor Recruitment: Qualification
age: The upper age limit to apply is 40. However, there is a relaxation of up to five years for reserved and other special categories candidates.
education: For specialties, the applicant should have MD/MS or Diploma of DNB equivalent to MD/MS in the concerned subject. The applicant should also have three years of teaching experience.
For Dentistry, MDS or equivalent in the concerned subject or allied subject and at least three years teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator.
For non-medical candidates, post graduate degree in relevant subject, TET qualification, and experience as a tutor or senior resident, or assistant professor are required.

ESIC Assistant Professor Recruitment: Fee
SC/ ST/ PWD/ Departmental candidates (ESIC employees), women candidates and ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the application fee. Whereas all other categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500.
ESIC Assistant Professor Recruitment: Salary
The salary of a selected candidate will be between Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700.
