Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has extended the application deadline for the third time. Members who are eligible can now apply for higher pension till July 11.
The body in-charge of the provident fund had earlier extended the deadline twice, first from March 3 to May 3 and then to June 26. The deadline was extended to give more time to the pensioners to resolve any issues they may have.
The press said, “A last opportunity of 15 days is being given to eligible pensioners/members to remove any difficulties that may be faced by them. Accordingly, the last date for submission of applications for verification of option/combined options by the employees is 11.07. has been extended till 2023. release.
