After the match, the official Twitter handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) uploaded some pictures in which Dhoni can be seen talking to the Indian players. The cricketers listened attentively to the 41-year-old as he spoke.

BCCI’s Twitter handle captioned the pictures and wrote, “Always everyone’s ears when the great @msdhoni talks!”

Rohit Sharma, who won his 14th consecutive match as Indian T20I captain, lauded his team for putting up a strong show at Edgbaston.

“We all know how good they are wherever they go, not just in England. We were clear what we wanted to do. When you win games, it’s always good. The group is also confident, Which is very important. We will keep watching and focus on what lies ahead. Wanted to see how we perform after a win and will challenge us as a group,” Rohit was quoted as saying .

Rohit also lauded Ravindra Jadeja, who scored an unbeaten 29-ball 46 in the second match of the series. Sharma was impressed with the left-hander as the latter did not lose his cool at any stage of the match.

“Great innings under pressure [from Jadeja] And Jadeja, with his experience of a hundred on this ground, was calm and collective. At no point did we feel he was panicking,” he said.
