The police have identified the citizen as Zameer Ahmed Bhat, a shopkeeper by profession and a resident of Dangarpora Chitragam Kalan. According to police, Bhat sustained bullet injuries in his leg and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment where his condition is said to be stable.
