The Kochi unit of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Swapna Suresh, the main accused in the gold smuggling case, to appear on June 22.
Swapna was produced before a magistrate court under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) and had appeared in the media stating that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his family including his wife and daughter were involved in the smuggling racket.
