Sending a letter of gratitude Army BTS leader was for this huge honor rm. In her Weavers account, the star penned an emotional note that read, “I’m so emotional right now! Honestly, I’m numb to both joy and sadness because it’s been so long since I’ve seen you all personal. But today, I want to close my eyes, dance and really embrace this feeling… because I’m definitely happy! Thank you so much for making me feel that way. I really I am honored. I am forever grateful. ‘Butter’, which held the top spot for seven consecutive weeks, dropped to 7th position.
Meanwhile, “Permission to Dance” debuted at #1 on the digital song sales chart, the biggest sales week for any song since “Butter.” It is the first act in BTS music history to hit the top 2 on the Digital Song Sales chart on five separate occasions. This time ‘Permission to Dance’ ‘Butter’ slipped to No. 1 and came to No. 2.
