ED raid: Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi hatches a conspiracy to implicate him

Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Wednesday accused the BJP-led central government of conspiring to implicate him in the case in which raids were conducted by the Enforcement Directorate at several places in the state. He alleged that whenever elections are held, the BJP government at the Center uses and targets agencies like Enforcement Directorate (ED), Income Tax and others against political opponents.

Referring to the ED raids on his nephew’s house on Tuesday, Channi claimed that a conspiracy has been hatched to implicate me in this case. He alleged that the Federal Investigation Agency is trying to implicate him in the case.
