Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan, who got a clean chit from the NCB in the drug-on-cruise case last year, on Thursday filed a petition before a special NDPS court seeking his passport back. The court directed the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to file its reply and fixed July 13 for hearing the matter.

Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the high-profile drugs case in early October last year, but the probe agency did not name him as an accused in the chargesheet filed in May. NCB quits Aryan Khan and five others for lack of sufficient evidence. Aryan Khan had submitted his passport in the court under the conditions of bail.

On Thursday, he filed an application in the special court through Desai Desai Carimji and Mulla’s own lawyers Amit Desai and Rahul Agarwal, seeking to return his passport, citing the chargesheet, which does not name him. The 24-year-old was arrested by the NCB on October 3 last year after a raid on a Goa-bound cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. Aryan Khan spent more than 20 days in jail before being granted bail by the Bombay High Court.
