The first Dornier-228 aircraft was received on 7 April.
This aircraft has been made by the government company Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and this air service will be operated by the government airline company Alliance Air. Alliance Air had signed an agreement with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in February. There was talk of supplying two 17-seater Dornier-228 aircraft. The airline received its first Dornier 228 aircraft on 7 April.
