Doctor Ji: Ayushmann Khurrana excited about shooting in Bhopal

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is currently shooting for his next awaited ‘Doctor Ji’ in Bhopal and revealed that this is the first time he is shooting in the city of lakes! Talking about ‘Doctor Ji’, the upcoming film will be based on the campus of a medical institute. While Ayushmann will play the role of Dr. Uday Gupta, Rakul will be seen as Dr. Fatima, a medical student who plays Ayushmann’s senior in the film. Anubhuti, who is the sister of director Anurag Kashyap, will make her debut as a feature film director with the upcoming project. He has directed the dark comedy mini-series ‘Aafsos’ and the critically acclaimed short film ‘Moi Marjani’ in the past.

The film is written by Anubhuti, Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh and Saurabh Bharat. In December, Ayushmann had announced the film with a picture of himself along with the script of the film. This is Ayushmann’s third collaboration with Junglee Pictures after Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) and Badhaai Ho (2018).
