Indian TV anchor, reporter, and actor Chevella Ravi Kumar, who rose to fame by his TV pseudonym, Bithiri Saathi, has recently come into limelight for his remuneration. Due to high demand for parody videos on current political developments as well as other trending topics, TV channels are giving huge offers and opportunities to anchors.
According to the news circulating on the internet, it is said that Shevella Ravi Kumar is getting more remuneration than some of the top anchors of Tollywood. The total remuneration of the anchor is said to be between 5 to 7 lakhs per month. He is charging around Rs 2 lakh for an interview.
For the unaccounted for, Bithiri Saathi is a title character played by Chevella Ravi Kumar. The character is an intellectually challenged person and is part of Teenmaar News, a daily news on Telugu news channel, V6 News. In the show, Ravi, in the character of his Bithiri partner, along with host Savitri, asks hilarious questions of celebrities in a local dialect of Telangana. Ravi’s news programme, which is a parody of current affairs, politicians and the entertainment industry, is a huge hit among the masses.
Coming to her acting career, Ravi made her Tollywood debut in the 2007 Telugu drama, Seema Shastri, in which she played a role.
In 2017, Ravi progressed in his acting career as he starred in three films. Meanwhile, during the audio launch of Rana Daggubati and Kajal Aggarwal-starrer Nene Raju Nene Mantri, her performance was well received by the audience.
