Dizo garners 1 million subscribers in India within 5 months

New Delhi: Dizo, the first brand under the realme techlife ecosystem, has garnered 1 million users in India within five months of its launch in the country. The consumer tech brand announced the achievement on Twitter on Wednesday.

“So much to celebrate in such a short time! Once again, we want to thank the DIZO squad for your overwhelming love and support. ️ Drop the emoji if you’ve been a part of 1 million! #DIZO #realmeTechLife #BeDifferent,” the company tweeted from its handle @DIZOTech.

According to a report by news agency PTI, the new Realme brand has also garnered Rs 100 crore revenue since its launch in India in May.

“We got maximum contribution from South (33 per cent) and Eastern regions (25 per cent), followed by West and North regions… We saw an equally high demand from Tier-III cities, which is a testament to a strong Digital India. And that again confirms that there is huge potential out there,” Dijo India CEO Abhilash Panda was quoted as saying by PTI.

Earlier in September, Dizo had launched two new smartwatches – Dizo Watch 2 and Dizo Watch Pro – for Rs 2,999 and Rs 4,999 respectively.

The 1.69-inch Dizo Watch 2 sports 600 nits high-brightness, 2.5D glass, and a premium yet sturdy metal frame.

The Dizo Watch Pro features a 1.75-inch (4.4 cm) HD touchscreen display with 600 nits high brightness. It is equipped with built-in dual GPS and GLONASS positioning for precise location tracking with 90 sports modes, multiple health monitoring to act as a perfect health companion to one’s fitness regime.
