Director Lakshman, known for films like Bogan and Romeo and Juliet, is all set to join hands with Tamil actor Raghava Lawrence.

Director Lakshman, known for films like Bogan and Romeo and Juliet, is all set to join hands with Tamil actor Raghava Lawrence for an untitled project. The film will be handled by Lyca Productions. The director has reportedly narrated the story to Raghav and the actor has liked the project. Laxman has said that the film will go on floors in three months. An official announcement regarding the project will be made soon.
Laxman made his directorial debut in 2015 with Romeo Juliet, a romantic drama starring Jayam Ravi and Hansika. Later, the director collaborated with Jayam Ravi for his next two films Bogan and Bhoomi. Now, she is all set to break her constant streak with actor Jayam Ravi and will do her next film with Raghava Lawrence.
Laxman is yet to finalize the cast and crew for the film. Laxman’s last directorial Bhoomi, which released a year ago on Disney+ Hotstar, received a good response. His new film with Raghav as the lead actor will have a theatrical release.
Raghav’s next outing Rudran is scheduled to release in theaters in April. Producer Kathiresan is making his directorial debut with this film. Priya Bhavani Shankar is playing the lead role in this film.
Recently, Raghav had announced that he will be seen playing the lead role in a film titled Durga, which will be helmed by popular stunt choreographer Anbareev.
As an actor, Raghav was last seen in Kanchana 3. Apart from being an actor, Raghav is a producer, director and choreographer.
