Renowned filmmaker Dil Raju, who had bought the distribution rights of RRR in Nizam, hosted a grand party to celebrate the massive success of the SS Rajamouli directorial. In one of the viral videos of the party, Rajamouli can be seen performing with director Anil Ravipudi on the hook step of RRR’s hit song Naatu Natu.
The success party was organized on 4th April in Hyderabad. RRR’s male leaders Jr NTR and Ram Charan also joined the party along with their wives.
Junior NTR wore a white shirt and black trousers for the event, while Ram Charan was seen walking barefoot in a black kurta pyjama. Rama is currently following a 41-day long Ayyappa Diksha.
Meanwhile, RRR continues to earn money at the box office. The film saw a huge jump in the collections during the weekend and has crossed the Rs 900 crore mark worldwide.
As for Unverse, made on a budget of Rs 550 crore, RRR was initially scheduled for theatrical release on 30 July 2020, which got postponed several times due to production delays and the pandemic. The film was finally released theatrically on 25 March 2022.
RRR was critically acclaimed for its screenplay and performance. The film earned Rs 240 crore worldwide on its opening day and broke the record for the highest opening-day collection earned by any Indian film. As of 4 April 2022, the film has earned over Rs 900 crore worldwide, making it the ninth highest-grossing film of 2022.
RRR stars NT Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody and Olivia Morris. The film is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao) and their fight against the British Raj.
