A video of Nayanthara and Vignesh visiting the Kaligambal temple has now gone viral after fans noticed the actress applying sindoor on her forehead.
The Bigil star was seen wearing a brownish blue salwar-kameez for the temple visit, while Vignesh opted for a T-shirt, a jacket and a pair of pants. A video going viral on social media shows Vignesh protecting Nayanthara as they make their way through the temple amid a fan frenzy. Many fans immediately saw the sindoor and wondered if the pair had already tied the knot.
Nayanthara and Vignesh have been together for more than seven years. While they have kept their relationship away from the limelight, they have been seen showing each other’s support on social media platforms. Last year, the couple announced their engagement by sharing a picture in which the couple’s faces were not visible, but Nayanthara flaunting her unique engagement ring with her hand placed on Vignesh’s chest.
In an interview with Divya Darshini that aired on Vijay TV last year, Nayanthara said, “It was my engagement ring. We are private people so we didn’t want to have any grand ceremony. When we will decide to get married we will Will definitely inform everyone. Our engagement took place in the presence of close family members. We haven’t decided on our marriage yet.”
On the work front, Nayanthara and Vignesh are collaborating in Kathuvakula Rendu Kaadhal. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. It is going to release next month.
