Vivek Agnihotri reacts to Dia Mirza’s tweet on Uddhav Thackeray

Dia Mirza took to social media to react to the news of Uddhav Thackeray resigning as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra late on Wednesday. Diya thanked Thackeray for ‘taking care of the people and the planet’. However, Vivek Agnihotri, director of The Kashmir Files, reacted quickly to Diya’s tweet. In response, Vivek asked Diya if she was talking about ‘Bollywood planet’.

Uddhav Thackeray, 62, resigned on Wednesday night after the Supreme Court refused to stay Governor Koshyari’s direction to his government to take a floor test in the assembly on Thursday. After his resignation, many people including Bollywood stars supported him and Diya was one of them. Thanking the former Maharashtra CM in her tweet, Diya wrote, “Thank you @OfficeofUT. You cared about the people and the planet. Expressing your gratitude and respect here. May you get many more opportunities to serve the nation. @AUThackeray (sic) .”
