Delhi Traffic Update: Commuters Continue To Face Slow Movement On Roads Third Day In Row

Several stretches of roads in Delhi were closed for maintenance and construction work, resulting in commuters facing traffic jams for the third consecutive day on Wednesday. The Chirag Delhi flyover was closed for 50 days from Sunday, and Rangpuri to Rajokri on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway (NH-48) for 90 days from Tuesday. The maximum effect of the bandh can be seen in South and Southwest Delhi.

PWD Minister Atishi on Tuesday directed the officials to complete the maintenance work of Chirag Delhi flyover within a month instead of 50 days. The minister held a meeting with senior officials of the Public Works Department (PWD) to resolve the issue on priority basis.
