Delhi MCD Election 2022: Congress’ Kamal Gaur, BJP’s Gaurav Sharma join AAP

Ahead of the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) elections, Congress leader Kamal Gaur and BJP leader Gaurav Sharma joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) at the party headquarters here on Monday.

“The AAP family is expanding its reach day by day. Today, the reason for the expansion of our family is Kamal Gaur and Gaurav Sharma. Gaur is joining AAP along with his family and team members. They complete five decades. It’s a long political journey to join our party today,” AAP leader Dilip Pandey said while welcoming the two to the party.

Kamal Gaur has served as Secretary of Delhi Pradesh Congress, General Secretary of Purvanchal Kalyan Trade Union, Secretary of Progressive National Labor Union, General Secretary of Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress, General Secretary of East Delhi Youth Congress, Vice President NSUI. Delhi, Convenor East Delhi Congress Campaign Committee, Executive Member Delhi Pradesh Congress, and President East Delhi Youth Congress.

“He is accompanied by PN Mishra, Ramashankar Pandey, Rajesh Pandit, Kapil Raghav, Abhay Singh, Ramjivan Pandey, RK Sharma and many of his followers,” Pandey told the media.

The AAP leader added: “We welcome all those who are joining him today. We are sure that all these members will also help us achieve that goal.”

Delhi’s three Municipal Corporations (MCDs) – North, East and South will go to polls in April.
