New Delhi: A 53-year-old man was arrested for allegedly assaulting his elderly mother at Bindapur in Dwarka district.
Police said on March 17 that they had received information from DDU Hospital about a woman (76) being admitted by her son-in-law.
Police said they reached the hospital and found that the woman was not fit to give a statement.
A case was registered under IPC section 308 (attempt to culpable homicide not amounting to murder). his son during interrogation Bhagwan Dass (53) was arrested.
Police said the cause of the scuffle was a property dispute. Later on March 18, the woman died during treatment and a case was added under IPC section 304 (punishment for culpable homicide not amounting to murder).
