Delhi: 3 injured in cylinder explosion in Chhatarpur

Delhi Fire Updates: A fire brigade official said three people were injured in a fire that broke out in an LPG cylinder in south Delhi on Thursday.

The Delhi Fire Department said that they received information about an explosion and house collapse around 9 pm in C Block, Phase 1, Rajpur near Chhatarpur in south Delhi, following which five fire tenders were immediately pressed into service.

“The second and third floors of the building were damaged in the blast caused by the LPG leak,” a Delhi fire official said. the injured were admitted to the nearest hospital.

Another fire brigade official said, “Usually, an explosion starts a fire, though this time nothing happened.” He said the situation is under control.
