Deepika Padukone reaches Hyderabad hospital after ‘heart palpitations’

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who is currently in Hyderabad, was reportedly taken to a city hospital after she complained of ‘increased heart rate’. The actress was shooting for her upcoming venture with Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas titled Project K – her first collab with the Baahubali star.

News of Deepika Padukone’s hospitalization flooded social media and many fans reacted to the same, praying for her speedy recovery. According to a report in Bombay Times, the actress was taken to a city hospital and after proper treatment, Deepika returned to the sets of the project.

South’s renowned trade analyst Manobala Vijaybalan also confirmed the news of Deepika’s health on Twitter. She wrote: #DeepikaPadukone is completely fine now and back on the sets of #ProjectK.

The project is a sci-fi venture by director Nag Ashwin. It is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. The film has been shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, also marking her Telugu debut.

The filming reportedly began in July last year at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. This science-fiction marvel has an estimated budget of Rs 500 crore, making the project one of the most expensive Indian films ever made.
