The youth who went missing on the day of Khargone riots has died. Police said that the youth was injured due to head injury and died on the same day at Khargone Hospital. The body was sent to Indore after it was not recognized. Police say that it is not yet clear whether the youth died due to disturbance or some other reason. There was no place to keep the dead body in Khargone Hospital, so it was kept in the mortuary of Indore MY Hospital. After identification the body was cremated.

SP Rohit Kashwani said that during the Ram Navami procession on April 10, there was a disturbance in Islampura area. During this a young man was found injured. The police immediately took him to Khargone Hospital for treatment, where he died. Information was collected about the youth, but due to lack of identification, the body was sent to Indore after registering a case in unknown. On April 14, a missing person was registered in the police station. On Sunday, his family members were called for identification. After identification, the body was brought to Khargone from Indore and the last rites were performed on Monday.

According to the SP, the youth has been identified as 28-year-old Iberesh’s father Saddam Khan, a resident of Islampura. He was a temporary sweeper in the Municipal Corporation. Iberesh died of a head injury. Police have registered a case. Police is continuously taking action against the miscreants. So far around 150 people have been arrested. 49 FIRs have been registered. NSA action is also being taken

Home Minister Narottam Mishra said – On April 10, the dead body of the youth was found. The postmortem took place on 11 April. Identity was not done. When the report was done, the identification took place in Iberesh’s room. Now being investigated. Action will be taken against the guilty. On the petition of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind in the Supreme Court against the bulldozer action, the Home Minister said that action is being taken against the rioters only under the law. The order of the court will come on the head and forehead.

Curfew relaxation canceled
On the question of linking this death to the riots, the SP said that the matter would be clear only after investigation. At the same time, on revoking the relaxation given in the curfew, it was said, people should not crowd unnecessarily and this decision was taken in view of the call for a bandh of Sakal Hindu Samaj.
