Nani starrer pan-India film Dussehra will hit the theaters on March 30.
The trailer of Dussehra starring Natural Star Nani will be launched in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh.
The day that the fans of Natural Star Nani have been eagerly waiting for has finally arrived. Dussehra, the first all-India film featuring Nani, is already making a lot of headlines. A fan from Maharashtra paid tribute by making a 100 kg rangoli Nani’s first public appearance in North Bollywood, playing Holi with her fans in the heart of Mumbai. The glimpse of a song from the film has been released and now the much awaited trailer of the film will be released in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh.
This is the first time that the trailer launch of a South production will be held in Lucknow. Nani is known to instantly connect and respect his fans, and presenting the Dussehra trailer in such a manner is a testament to the fact that the makers are trying to reach out to new audiences in the north.
The trailer launch is planned to be held in a grand manner which will be attended by lead actors Nani, Dixit Shetty and director Srikanth Odella and the film’s producers Sudhakar Cherukuri and Srikanth Chundi.
The teaser of Dussehra was released last month. The film appears to be a grounded story about a man from a small community who takes up arms to protect his people. The film’s backdrop is also very similar to Pushpa, yet it has moments that make it stand out.
The teaser begins with the introduction of a small community called Veerlapalli, which is surrounded by coal dunes and requires a serious peak to get a glimpse of. Nani’s voiceover character tells us that though drinking is a custom in the village, no one is addicted to alcohol there.
Dussehra is a Santhosh Narayanan musical, written and directed by Srikanth Odella, produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Srikanth Chundi. The pan-India film is slated to release on March 30.
