Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar has been in limelight for being a part of reality shows like No.1 Yaari and Kick. He is now back with the 7th season of the reality show, Dance Karnataka Dance. A promo of the show was tweeted by Zee Kannada on 19 April. The promo showed people celebrating the arrival of the seventh season of Dance Karnataka Dance. The promo shows Shivanna (known as Shiva Rajkumar) arriving in a car and greeting his fans. He then dances with a fan and appreciates her moves as well. The launch date of this series has not been revealed yet.
Shiva Rajkumar was also associated with the previous (sixth) season of Dance Karnataka Dance. Actress Rakshita Prem, music composer Arjun Janya and choreographer Chini Prakash also judged the show. Like the previous season, Anushree was the host of the show. It is not known whether he will be included for the seventh season as well.
Sharika Hemant and Sadhvin Shetty were the winners of the previous season. The duo earned the title of ‘fire-brand’ for their sizzling chemistry and scintillating moves. He was the most popular artist as compared to his counterparts. He was awarded the Puneet Rajkumar Trophy. He was also awarded a ready-to-move-in flat in Bangalore. He also received prize money of Rs 30 lakh. The choreographers of these contestants have also won awards. Mahesh and Chahat Sheikh were the first runners-up of this season. Both were awarded prize money of Rs 20 lakh. Daxit and Prannoy were the second runners-up. Popular choreographers like Rudra Master and Moshisha were part of the selection team.
As per the format of Dance Karnataka Dance Show, dance enthusiasts below the age of 60 years and proficient in all forms of dance are eligible for selection.
Shiva Rajkumar was also in limelight for his recent cameo in Rajinikanth starrer Jailer.
