The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently concluded the registration process for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate Courses (CUET UG) 2024 yesterday, March 26, at 11:50 p.m. However, according to reports, there are a large number of students who could not apply. The reason behind this is said to be a technical problem. Students claimed that due to technical issues like the server being down for several days and many other problems, they were not able to apply for the exam. So they have demanded to extend the last date of the application.

Extension of the last date of application:

Students unable to apply for CUET UG 2024 are requesting an extension of the application deadline. Students claimed that there are still one and a half months for CUET UG to start. It will be held from May 15 to May 31. So, the students demanded they should get more time to apply online.

Correction window:

According to the schedule of the National Testing Agency (NTA), the window for corrections in the application for CUET UG 2024 will open on March 28 and 29. Candidates who have filled out the form will be able to make corrections to their application form.

As per reports, the NTA will administer the CUET UG 2024 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) format from May 15 to May 31. The detailed schedule will be released soon. The exam is said to be held in hybrid mode. Through this facility, candidates from remote places will be able to appear for the exam close to their homes. It will be conducted in three shifts: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., 12.30 p.m. to 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.

CUET UG 2024: Educational Qualification:

To be eligible to participate in the CUET UG 2024, candidates must have completed their class 12 exam of study or be preparing for upcoming class 12 exams in 2024. Candidates from the general category must have received at least 50 per cent, while candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories must have received at least 45 per cent in the examination.

However, this year, candidates will be able to choose six subjects, unlike last year, when candidates were allowed to choose 10 subjects. The exam will be held online in 13 languages.
