Following consecutive defeats against Lucknow Super Giants, reigning champions Chennai Super Kings returned to winning ways by getting the better of Sunrisers Hyderabad at Chepauk. The victory helped the five-time champions get one step closer to the playoffs in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). CSK are currently at the third spot in the standings, having secured 10 points from nine matches. CSK will look to continue the winning momentum when they host Punjab Kings in their next IPL appearance.
