Yoga is supposed to relax the mind and the body. It is one of the best ways to unwind and stretch the physical muscles. The activity becomes even more relaxing when you are joined by a four-legged furry friend. Yes, we are not talking about a dog accompanying you for yoga. Recently, a yoga class in Massachusetts was invaded by three piglets, who enhanced the experience for all the attendees. The three piglets moved along the whole area while the women performed. Their adorable movements made the class even more fun, as all the yoga performers had a blast.

Ashley Bousquet runs Beyond Yoga & Wellness Centre in Massachusetts, USA. Recently, she introduced a new concept of piglet yoga that has attracted a lot of new registrations at the centre. She has revealed that her online registrations were sold out within hours. According to a report by AP, Bousquet gives a disclaimer to all the attendees to not get carried away by the interruption caused by the piglets and continue practicing the yoga postures. She also added that the piglets come running to the attendees and cuddle with them. She further added that there are times when they even cause a lot of mischiefs.

One of the attendees, Amy Finkel, brought her two daughters with her to the yoga session. As reported by the news agency, Amy and her daughters were seen in broad smiles enjoying their session with the adorable piglets. Amy said, “Seeing them so joyful and happy was the high point. The low point? When it was over, because it just seemed to go so quickly.”

Rebecca, who is the president of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, revealed that if yoga is practiced with shelter animals, it can produce a lot of health benefits as well. She also added that it can also lead to the development of a sense of adoption among the attendees.

All around the world, puppy yoga classes are also getting extremely popular. It is believed that these classes not only provide the same benefits as normal yoga, but also add a lot of playfulness to the session.
