Cryptocurrency Price Today: The cryptocurrency market maintained its position during early trading on Monday, July 4, after being in consolidation over the past week. At the time of writing this article the global cryptocurrency market cap was seen in the green with a value of $865.24 billion, up a modest 0.02 percent over the past 24 hours. However, it could not cross the $900 million mark at the beginning of the week as investors still remain in the extreme fear zone due to market volatility.

“The market has remained strong since last one week. Consolidation is generally considered a good sign as it allows the market to recover. The $18,850 support level and $21,000 resistance level in BTC will be closely monitored by market participants,” said Edul Patel, CEO and co-founder of Mudrex.

The price of Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency by market cap, remained below $20,000 for another day. At the time of writing, the price of bitcoin is recorded today at $19,130.53, which is a slight increase of 0.39 percent from the previous day.

Meanwhile, Ether price remained flat today and barely held above $1,000 but maintained its important support level. At the time of writing this article, Ethereum was trading at $1,054.62, down 0.47 percent over the past 24 hours.

“Ether, the second largest crypto, has however been able to hold significant support levels. Transaction fees on Ethereum have fallen to 2-year lows, and we may see some developers taking advantage of this. In the coming days Will be interesting for the crypto market,” Patel said.
