COVID-19: Door to door vaccination not possible, says SC India News – Times of India

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday said that door-to-door immunization of Kovid is not possible, especially when the vaccination is going on properly.
“Given the diverse COVID situation and administrative complexities in the country, door-to-door immunization is not feasible, especially when vaccination is progressing properly”, Supreme Court said.
A bench of Justice DY Chandrachud, Vikram Nath And Hima Kohli refused to entertain the other Public interest litigation In which compensation was sought for the next of kin in case of each Kovid death, considering it medical negligence.
The apex court said that it cannot be held that such a large number of unfortunate deaths due to COVID were due to medical negligence. “We cannot make such an inference,” it said and asked the petitioner to suggest measures through representation to the Central Government.
