Coronavirus: Study finds this is a common omicron symptom in 80% of COVID cases in the UK. The Times of India

The Omicron variant has wreaked havoc in the last few months. Although it was not as deadly as the Delta, it was highly permeable and spread across nations in no time. While the number of cases has declined in many parts of the world, there is another surge in COVID-19 infections in the United Kingdom.

According to the UK health secretary, the increase in coronavirus cases was “expected” as many COVID-19 restrictions were lifted and people were moving freely again.

The most recent data from the Office of National Statistics COVID-19 Infection Survey suggests an increase in cases across the UK.

Referring to the same, in a YouTube video, Professor Tim Spector, Head of the ZOE COVID Symptoms App, said, “Predicted to rise again for the first time in weeks.”
