The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that India on Sunday recorded 955 deaths and added 43,071 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, down from Saturday.
India recorded 738 deaths on July 3, the lowest since April 8.
India is the second country after the US to register more than 30 million cases, adding 10 million cases in the last 50 days.
