Corona Updates: Pfizer claims – The third dose of our vaccine is 80% effective on children aged 6 months to 5 years, 1135 new cases in 24 hours

Health Minister expressed displeasure over WHO report
Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya on Monday expressed displeasure over the World Health Organization (WHO) report in which WHO had said that India has a high death rate from all causes. Mandaviya said that India expresses its dismay at the way the WHO prepared a report on the mortality rate and presented it to the world.

In fact, WHO had recently claimed in a report that between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2021, there were 47 lakh deaths from Kovid-19 in India. Whereas, according to the figures of the Government of India, there were 5 lakh 20 thousand deaths in the country during this period. The Union Health Minister rejected the WHO figures during his address at the 75th session of the World Health Assembly held in Geneva.

UAE bans travel from 16 countries including India
In view of the increasing outbreak of Kovid-19, Saudi Arabia has banned the travel of its citizens to 16 countries including India. Saudi Arabia has taken this decision in view of the increase in daily cases of corona infection in the last few weeks. According to Gulf News, Saudi Arabia has banned travel from India, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Ethiopia, Congo, Libya, Indonesia, Vietnam, Armenia, Belarus and Venezuela.

Saudi also expressed concern about monkeypox
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health has also expressed concern about monkeypox. Deputy Health Minister Abdullah Asiri said, ‘We are able to detect and monitor suspected cases of monkeypox. If a case of this disease comes to the fore, then it is also capable of fighting the infection.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed more than 100 cases of monkeypox in 15 countries. However, no official statement has come from India in this matter yet.

Monkey pox threat in Mumbai
After the cases of monkeypox came to the fore from some countries, the threat of this disease has started looming in Mumbai too. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has prepared a 28-bed ward at Kasturba Hospital here. BMC official said that at present no suspected patient of monkeypox has been confirmed in Mumbai, but there is a possibility of infection from travelers coming from countries where the disease has spread, for which precaution is being taken. The BMC said that all the passengers coming from other countries are being screened at the airport.

Monkey pox alert in MP
After getting monkeypox patients in 15 countries of the world, now the Union Health Ministry has given instructions to take special precautions in Madhya Pradesh too.
